PULSE Integration is proud to announce and welcome Luke Tromp to the company as an engineering intern focused on the development of our technology testing and engineering support.

Luke is currently studying at Olivet Nazarene University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He previously served as a mechanical engineering intern at GHSP for the summer of 2019 where he worked on the Fiat-Chrysler team designing concept shifters, analyzing and reverse-engineering current production products, and designing for manufacturing. Luke is also a proud member of the Member of Engineering Club and the Olivet Nazarene University ASME.

PULSE proudly welcomes Luke to the family to further expand his expertise in engineering.

Zachary joins the PULSE Integration family with a history in Project Management. Zachary has held positions such as Project Specialist and I-Care Technician for Cooper-Atkins, Blue Ash, and Student Help Desk Technician for Lee University. He most recently held the position of Software Project Manager for SwissLog where he led multi-million-dollar system integration projects from start-up to completion.

Zachary holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Lee University. His extensive experience in Project Management will greatly aid PULSE Integration in their customer renovation and implementation projects and ensure each client receives personalized service to their solution. Kendra joins the PULSE Integration family with a history in Project Management. Kendra has held integral positions to include IT Project Manager with Comcast Business, and Technical Project Manager with Pyramid Controls. She most recently held the position of Software and Controls Project Manager for SwissLog Logistics where she supervised developers and integration teams to complete software design/implementation for development according to functional specifications and project plans.

Kendra holds a Bachelor’s in engineering from Tennessee State University, PMP from Project Management Institute, and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. Her extensive experience in Project Management will greatly aid PULSE Integration in their customer renovation and implementation projects and ensure each client receives personalized service to their solution. Welcome Marcus LaurinePULSE Integration is proud to announce and welcome Marcus Laurine as the company’s Project Manager. Marcus joins the PULSE Integration family with 9+ years history in Project Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations leveraging strong technical and decision-making skills to create and implement project solutions for optimal profitability and business plan alignment.

Marcus has held integral positions to include: Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control for Wal-Mart Logistics, where he was responsible for warehousing and inventory control to develop shipments and satisfy supply chain demands. He most recently held the position of Senior Project Manager for PPi Technologies where lead business, resource allocation, cost management, manufacturing, and purchasing operations for automated packaging equipment/lines within The PPi Technologies Company. Marcus was responsible for direct continuous improvement processes which reduced suppliers and production defects by 50%.

Marcus holds numerous certifications to include: SolideWorks, Allen Bradley PLC, AutoCad, Hazmat Shipping (DOT, IATA, IMDG). His extensive experience in Project Management will greatly aid PULSE Integration in their customer renovation and implementation projects and ensure each client receives personalized service to their solution. PULSE Integration Welcomes Brittain Ladd, Chief Marketing Officer

Welcome Brittain Ladd

PULSE Integration is proud to announce and welcome Brittain Ladd as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. Brittain joins the PULSE Integration family with 20+ years’ experience in supply chain management, technology, robotics, and micro-fulfillment.  Brittain will lead PULSE Integration’s expanding efforts into the Grocery and Retail Micro-fulfillment space.

Prior to joining PULSE Integration, he worked globally as an independent consultant designing and implementing strategy and logistics programs for grocery retailers and CPG companies. Brittain is a former Deloitte and Capgemini consultant where he focused on strategy, supply chain, and logistics consulting for companies in retail, CPG, oil and gas, chemicals, and manufacturing. He has held numerous leadership positions to include: Chief Supply Chain and Strategy Officer for Tompkins International, Director and Consultant for Worldwide Expansion Fresh, Pantry and Groceries for Amazon, and Supply Chain and Strategy Director for Dell Inc.

Brittain was recruited by Amazon in 2015 to design strategies for Amazon to become a 3PL and a leader in groceries. His 2013 research paper A Beautiful Way to Save Woolworths, is considered “the bible of grocery retailing.” In the paper, Brittain recommended that Amazon should acquire Whole Foods as well as build their own stores. Brittain designed a multi-format store for Amazon using micro-fulfillment located on a top floor and in the back room. He also designed robots to shuttle inventory from the back room to shelves for product replenishment. Amazon confirmed on February 25, 2020, that Amazon’s next store being build will leverage robots to shuttle inventory. Amazon is building future stores with MFC on a top floor.

Brittain is an active writer and thought leader. He has written articles for Forbes, Observer, Bloomberg, and numerous industry publications. He has appeared on CNN, Fox Business, BBC, and other cable news programs globally and is ranked as one of the leading voices on LinkedIn. Brittain holds a bachelor’s degree and three master’s degrees specializing in Merchandising, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, and Business Administration while continuing to perform research on business, retail, and global economics. His passion is solving complex business problems and designing innovative technology and strategies that reduce costs and complexity while creating a competitive advantage.
